Do you have a list of beauty products that you’d love to own but do not because their prices touch the roof? We are with you. There is this luminizer that I always wanted but it is so expensive, I could never indulge! When I went through the ingredients used, I realized I could make my own luminizer as well, at a much cheaper rate. Here is the recipe for you:

You will need:

  1. Beeswax: It is preferable to buy pellets.
  2. Loose shimmer pigment
  3. Coconut oil
  4. Rosemary essential oil
  5. Mascara wand: Make sure it is absolutely clean
  6. Measuring spoons
  7. Glass bowls
  8. Container
  9. Fork

  1. Take a glass bowl and add ½ tbsp. beeswax pellets to it. Microwave it so that it melts.
  2. Now, take another glass bowl to melt the coconut oil. You will need not more than 1 tbsp. oil.
  3. Immediately, mix the two melted ingredients. It is important to be quick with this step because of them harden quite fast.
  4. Now, you need around a tbsp. of loose pigment. In order to do that, simply use the mascara wand to scrape the powder out of the container.
  5. Add this powder to the coconut oil and beeswax mixture. Use a fork to mix them together. Whisk slightly as well if need be so that they mix properly.
  6. Add the rosemary extract now.
  7. Pour this into a small container and let it cool. It will solidify with ease even if you don’t refrigerate it.
  8. You are ready! Apply this on your cheeks, lips, and eyelids and you will glow!
