Hair coloring is not easy. There are many who like coloring their hair at home but even they can’t always be perfect. There are many mistakes that may occur and the most common mistake is applying the color on your skin. Thankfully there are ways to remove them easily. The best thing to do would of course be to avoid these stains right from the beginning. Before starting to color your hair, make sure you apply Vaseline around your hairline along with other areas where the hair color could possibly drip such as eyebrows, ears, jaw, etc.

If you missed prevention steps and you now have an ugly stain, there are some things that you could do in order to take care of it. Here are a few:

 Olive oil will help you a lot. Simply take a Q-tip or a cotton swab dipped in olive oil and rub it over the stain until it fades away.

 Take a cotton ball and spray some hairspray on it. Before the color can dye, rub the cotton ball over it.

 Add some baby oil to your facial cleanser and apply in circular motion over the stain.

 If your skin is not very sensitive, you can try nail polish remover too. Just apply it on a swab and remove the stain by rubbing over it
