Jaime King is courageously sharing her past to help sexual assault survivors.

She chose Instagram and Twitter to reveal that she is a “survivor” as well. This was after Lady Gaga’s performance during the Oscars on “Til It Happens to You.”

“Thank you @ladygaga – I finally felt a true healing from years of abuse as a minor in the industry. Time to be brave,” the actress tweeted on Sunday.

The song was written by Gaga along with Diane Warren. It was written especially for a documentary that revolved around rape on college campuses, named The Hunting Ground.

She also posted an old photo of herself. She mentioned those who helped her through her struggle: Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Lena Dunham, and Kyle Newman (her husband).

“SURVIVOR – Thank you @kyle_newman for loving me whole | My children | @lenadunham for her relentless bravery that always leads my Spirit to stand up,” she wrote on Instagram.

“@ladygaga | #DianeWarren for breaking me whole last night and tonight| TS I love you for being there no matter what| Thank you to the only people I have told,” King continued.
