4. Be practical: Don’t ever bite more than you can chew. If you can’t do it or if it is too much for you, you won’t do it for more than a couple of days. Thus, your workout regimen must be realistic and something that you can do. Start off modestly and increase the duration and intensity with time.

5. Do what you like: If you pick an exercise that you hate, you will not do it. There are enough types of exercise for you to be flexible about your choice. You can choose anything that you know you will like. Swimming is a great option to relieve arthritis pain but if you don’t like it, don’t do it. You can go for something else instead.
